Quotes
Every quote is written, fixed for the work described, and valid for [30] days. If extra work is found once old tiles are off, such as rotten boards or loose plaster, we'll explain it and agree a price with you before doing it.
Tiles and materials
You can supply your own tiles, or we can order them for you. Please order about 10% extra (15% for herringbone and diagonal patterns) from the same batch. Adhesive, grout, trims and sealants are included in the quote unless it says otherwise.
Deposits and payment

Loyal customer discount
After your first completed job, every further job you book with AR Tiling is 10% off our price for labour and the materials we supply. A friend you recommend gets 10% off their first job when they give your name when asking for a quote. Landlords' properties count as one account. The discount doesn't apply to tiles or materials you buy yourself, can't be combined with other offers, and doesn't apply to commercial contracts, which are priced per project. Health and safety
Every job is planned with a risk assessment, and commercial and site work comes with RAMS (risk assessments and method statements). Our tilers are qualified and work to BS 5385, the British Standard for wall and floor tiling. Dust from cutting is controlled with wet cutting, on-tool extraction and the right masks.
Cancelling
If you agreed the work at your home, you have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us to start within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the work done up to that point.
Before we start
Please clear the room where you can. We protect floors and furniture with dust sheets, remove our waste and leave the area clean.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for [2] years. The guarantee doesn't cover tiles or materials supplied by others, damage, or movement in the building outside our control.
Insurance
AR Tiling holds [£2m] public liability insurance. Certificate available on request.
